Incredible sounds from a choir that have been around for 110 years.

Expect pieces that range from classic male voice standards such as Gwahoddiad, the operatic chorus O Isis and Osiris from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, to the show stopping Rhythm of Life from Cy Coleman’s musical Sweet Charity.

Established in 1906, this 110-year-old choir is one of the longest running in Wales. Established by its founding Musical Director, Mr. Jordan Davies, who was a keen cricketer, it was originally formed to provide funding for equipment at Caerphilly Cricket Club. Mr. Davies, who continued as the choir's Musical Director for the next 50 years, kept the choir active, and it went on to support the people of Caerphilly by performing at charitable events both locally and further abroad.

Currently the age range of the choir is from 32 to 91 years of age, with some members having seen service for over 50 years. There are currently 31 members in the choir from many different backgrounds.Recently the choir took part in the Festival of Massed male voice choirs at the Royal Albert Hall.
