Behind The Masquerade
Alchemist is Les Parry, Andy Worthington and Rob Philpott. They formed some 5 years ago as a spin-off from local sixties tribute band, ‘LXS’, in which the guys played together for more than 20 years. Their music is best described as, ‘Roots/Folk’ and is primarily ‘acoustic guitar’ based. All three members play acoustic finger style guitar but their music has a number of influences including Classical, Latin, West Coast and Folk.
