Hairspray: The Musical
Stage 8 Productions proudly presents Hairspray
June 13th-17th: 7:00pmpm nightly and 2:00pm Saturday matinee
It’s 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, and quirky, plus-sized, teenage Tracy Turnblad has one dream: to dance on The Corny Collins Show. When she gets put in detention with the African-American students in the school, they teach her some of their dance moves, and her new found groove wins her a spot on Corny’s show.
Featuring songs such as "Welcome to the 60s", "Mama i'm a big girl" & "You can't stop the Beat" this is a groovy, feel good musical for all the family.
