ANDREW WATTS: FEMINISM FOR CHAPS
As seen on 'ITV’s Stand-Up Hero' and Comedy Central’s 'The World Stands Up', Andrew Watts has a distinctive style and very original material.
While the former lawyer turned comedian is undeniably posh, Andrew is so irresistibly likeable he invariably wins a crowd over as he canters through challenging subjects like an apologetic comedy tsunami. He is also famous for once buying lavender from a drug dealer in Brixton!
His previous two Edinburgh Fringe shows were critically acclaimed so his 2014 offering, 'Feminism for Chaps' has been eagerly anticipated. Until recently he did not realise that he is in fact a feminist, so in this show he uses his trademark intelligent wit to explore how chaps like him can change the world for the better.
“An enticing blend of honest storytelling and dark humour” (Independent on Sunday).
“exquisitely funny” (Time Out).
"Lovers of stand-up laced with a cerebral cutting-edge should flock to his show" (Three Weeks).
Show features support by Mark Hurman and is compered by Paul James.
