Charlie And The Chocolate Factory / Matilda
BYT and ELYT pay homage to the great writer Roald Dahl in celebration of the 100th anniversary of his birth, with two of his classic tales.
BYT 12 to 15 Group perform Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The story of Charlie Bucket, five Golden Tickets, the Oompa-Loompas and the amazing Mr Willy Wonka is perhaps Roald Dahl’s best known and loved story.
ELYT Haddington 8 to 12 Group perform Matilda. Matilda Wormwood is only five years old, but she is a genius. Unfortunately her parents are too stupid to even notice. Worse, her horrible headmistress Miss Trunchbull is a bully. But what Miss Trunchbull doesn't know is that Matilda has a trick or two up her sleeve.
