A Brunton debut for the exciting young Aurea String Quartet who are fast building a reputation all over Scotland and elsewhere.
Beethoven’s ‘Harp’ Quartet is full of melody and drive. It is paired with Shostakovich’s shattering 8th quartet which ranges in emotion from rage, through utter despair to reflective beauty and consolation.
