Much Wenlock is delighted to welcome Felling Male Voice Choir from Gateshead in a joint concert at The Edge, formed in 1920 the Felling choir is an integral part of the musical life of Gateshead and the North East of England and has travelled extensively at home and abroad.
With a good record in competitions and a wide variety of songs, the choir has released a number of CDs over the years.
Their Musical Director Mark Edwards, who has conducted many ensembles and works as a percussionist for various orchestras and bands, is one half of the jazz duo ‘Piano Vibes’. Mark has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and in live broadcasts for BBC 3’s ‘In Tune’ programme.
