Writing the Body workshop with
It has been said that all poetry is about sex and death. Two subjects which, perhaps, need to be dealt with plainly, honestly and directly. Exploring different techniques and looking at different poets, this workshop will explore how we can best write the body, the erotic body, the body in ecstasy, the body in agony, the declining body.
Andrew Macmillan lectures in Creative Writing at Liverpool John Moores University. His first full-length collection, 'physical', is due from Jonathan Cape in July 2015.
