Montrose Music Fesitval : Toploader + Holy Ghosts + Peyton Place + Lewis Hamilton Band
Montrose Music Festival is a Scottish music festival which takes place at the end of May in Montrose, Angus. It has become a much anticipated, annual event across Scotland.
The festival committee is a non-profit, volunteer run organisation, dedicated to promoting free live music of all styles and genres, and at all levels, in Montrose and surrounding areas. The festival actively promotes local acts as well as hosting musicians from across the United Kingdom. It has become successful locally, winning the Pride of Angus Award in 2008.
They are proud to announce Toploader as headliner on the Friday night at 2013's festival!
Guaranteed to get you dancing in the moonlight, sunlight and any other light you care to mention, Eastbourne's favourite sons have come a long way since the release of the hauntingly catchy 'Achilles Heel' in 1999. A top five album, numerous festival headline slots, TV appearances and THAT song that made watching the Jamie Oliver adverts bearable have made them one of indie's shining lights. Capable of funky blues-rock and soaring string balladry, just try resisting the urge to sing along and tap your foot.
