Wyrd Sisters is a fantastical comedy set in the alternative Discworld created by Terry Pratchett, peopled with witches, mad dukes, fools, ghosts, disinherited kings, actors and dim guards.

Duke Felmet and his scheming wife have murdered his brother to steal the throne. But they have not counted on the intervention of Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat Garlick, the three witches of the title, who turn the Duke’s evil plans into complete disarray.

Adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs, it borrows outrageously from Macbeth and Hamlet but turns those sombre tragedies into a hilarious comedy where anything can and does happen.
