Cleverly Everly was formed by BBC Points West correspondent Clinton Rogers and his brother Stan “to pay homage to one of the greatest musical duos in pop history”. They have played to packed houses across the South West.
As well as recreating the fabulous sounds of the Everlys, the band delves deep into the rich musical archive of the 60’s, playing numbers from artists such as Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Dusty Springfield and the Shadows. Cleverly Everly also features Stan’s wife Uta and lead guitarist Steve Craig.
Clinton says 'our aim is to stir memories, to give people a great time and leave them with a smile on their face. It’s a musical trip down memory lane'.
