Jazz performer Viviana Zarbo performs her 2019 Edinburgh Fringe hit show. Although one of the world’s most famous actresses, Marilyn Monroe’s contribution to the golden age of swing and jazz is often overlooked; her breathy renditions of songs like My Heart Belongs To Daddy and I Am Through With Love remain unique and instantly recognisable.
Far from impersonating Monroe, viviana reinterprets her songs in her own way and looks at the story of her life, asking whether any of us truly know the woman behind the iconic image?
