Jazz Matters: Dizzy Moods - Arnie Somogyi Presents The Music Of Charles Mingus
Leading British double bassist Arnie Somogyi introduces his favourite recordings of bassist Charles Mingus, one the most important composers and most colourful characters in jazz history. As well as being one of the few bassists to have performed with The Mingus Big Band, Arnie leads his own Mingus Repertoire Sextet, "Scenes in The City".

Arnie began playing double bass at the age of 19 and has been on the British jazz scene ever since. Expect a blend of British and Hungarian jazz.
