Leo O’Kelly and Sonny Condell are two of the most original and influential songwriters and performers Ireland has ever produced. Their guitars and voices wind and mesh gorgeously together.

John Peel championed the duo from the start, recording many Peel Sessions with them. In the 1970s they toured with bands as disparate as Jethro Tull, Procol Harum, The Who, Roxy Music and Steeleye Span as well as headlining their own theatre, college and club gigs, garnering a large cult following, which is still growing.

2015 saw the eagerly awaited release of a new studio album, The Dark Dance, their first since 1973! It has received glowing reviews.
