Chris Farlowe, The Norman Beaker Band

Chris Farlowe is widely regarded as one of the finest soul and rhythm‘n’blues voices the UK has ever produced.

Farlowe’s most-loved record, Out Of Time, was written especially for him by Mick Jagger and Keith Richard and was a smash number one single back in 1966. It remains one of the era’s most imperishable classics.

Guitarist Norman Beaker has collaborated with the likes of British blues godfather Alexis Korner, Cream legend Jack Bruce and Chicago bluesmen Phil Guy. He formed his own highly accomplished blues band in the early 1980s since when the band have gigged relentlessly and toured as the regular backing band for the likes of Larry Garner, Jack Bruce, and Chris Farlowe.
