What's In A Name?
Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser
Trio Paradis have been the trio in residence at Midsomer Norton Town Hall since 2012 and play a Palm Court concert every first Friday lunchtime of the month (except January) at 12.30pm. A chance to enjoy a wide variety of musical styles, brought together in a themed programme, with informal cafe-style seating.
April's concert is 'What's in a Name?' - music inspired by individuals, including Armstrong Gibbs' 'The Three Graces', together with music by composers with unusual and amusing names. Expect a few surprises given the proximity to April Fools' Day...
Trio Paradis are Jacquelyn Bevan (piano), Lisa Betteridge (violin) & Linda Stocks (cello). For more information, including programme, which appears a week before the concert, visit www.musicianssouthwest.com or www.trioparadis.com
The concert is suitable for all ages. Doors open for refreshments - teas, coffee, cakes etc - 20 minutes or so before the concert, which lasts approximately 45 minutes. Entrance is free with a retiring collection.
