Trio Paradis

Trio Paradis have been the trio in residence at Midsomer Norton Town Hall since 2012 and play a Palm Court concert every first Friday lunchtime of the month (except January) at 12.30pm. A chance to enjoy a wide variety of musical styles, brought together in a themed programme, with informal cafe-style seating.

March's theme is 'Daughters of the Muse': music by women composers, including Amy Beach (finale from Trio), Mel Bonis (Matin & Soir), Rebecca Clarke, Lili Boulanger and other female composers, many of whose compositions have been unjustly neglected. You will also discover details of their fascinating life stories.

The concert is suitable for all ages. Doors open for refreshments - teas, coffee, cakes etc - 20 minutes or so before the concert, which lasts approximately 45 minutes. Entrance is free with a retiring collection.
