Big Mouth Comedy Club

Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser

Big Mouth makes a welcome socially-distanced return to the Town Hall after a short-break following a special August Bank Holiday show.

Our MC tonight is Big Mouth favourite Dave Twentyman whose affable, quick witted banter will put a smile on your face and warm up the room perfectly — you’ll love him!

Dave is one of the few modern comedians who proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet — a tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present and a huge honour for any comic.

Amongst the brightest new talents, the straight-up Geordie Stand-Up Lauren Pattison is one of the youngest women working professionally on the comedy circuit. A fresh and fierce female voice, Lauren’s 2017 Edinburgh Fringe sell out debut Lady Muck, the story of her relocation to London and subsequent relationship break-up was lauded by audiences and critics alike. As anyone who follows Lauren on social media will know, she is never less than honest about the real, un-instagrammable moments in life.

Lauren has provided tour support for the likes of Katherine Ryan, as well as repeatedly gracing the comedy stages of Leeds Festival and Latitude Festival. With her natural warmth, ease on stage and and en pointe delivery, Lauren’s accomplished act belies her youthful years. Adding to her many TV appearances you may have seen her recently on BBC’s Stand Up For Live Comedy.

“Every now and then you see an up-and-coming comedian and think, "I wish I could buy shares in them." Last night, that was Lauren Pattison” Always Be Comedy

'a star of the future ... Lauren Pattison looks set for fame' - The List

Ignacio Lopez has been wowing audiences internationally with his individual style and high gag-rate since 2010. A crazy mixture of Welsh & Spanish, Ignacio has become one of the most unique voices around. He actually performs in Spanish and Welsh (and English!)

Ignacio soon gained TV recognition in 2011 when he appeared on Show Me The Funny (ITV) and since then he has gone on to become a regular face on BBC Wales Sesh and racked up over 20 million hits for his sketches.

In 2016 Ignacio produced and hosted a comedy series for Made Television called Comedy Sheep Stand-Up and he has provided tour support for the likes of Tom Stade and performed all over the globe including Spain, Germany, Norway, Greece, Turkey & Malta and has also racked up an impressive six solo hour shows.
Ignacio comes to Middlesbrough fresh from recording his stand-up special EspanYOLO in Manchester in November.
