Cursed

Cursed takes the story of Sleeping Beauty and turns it on its head focussing on the evil fairy who curses the young infant.

The story follows the fairy and explains why she may have been so evil when offering her blessing to the innocent. Aurora grows up under the protection of three magical guardians, but can she avoid the inevitable or be awoken by true love’s kiss. The story allows you to see the other side of the tale and perhaps the fairy herself is Cursed.

Fly Dance company create a piece of dance adapting and devising material to create a full length narrative piece. It is the culmination of their two years of study with us here at BMC highlighting their diversity as performers.
