We’ve heard a rumour from Ground Control that the David Bowie tribute Rebel Heroes is making an appearance at 7pm at this year’s Party In The Park. Followers are excitedly describing this band as not only THE most authentic emerging musical tribute to Bowie, but one that also puts other established Bowie tributes firmly in the shadows.

The 5/6 piece band whose experience of playing Bowie over a lifetime, gives a convincing edge in playing recreations of a vast repertoire of songs covering Bowie’s entire recording career from the inimitable Space Oddity to Lazarus on Bowie's final Blackstar album.

With blistering Ronson style guitar solos, legendary Wakeman-esque keys, Woodmansey style drums and Bolder bass lines, Rebel Heroes authentic performances have been spotted by the likes of Turin Brakes who've reviewed them as: “The best goddam opening band we’ve ever worked with. Blew us clean out of the water!!”

The 15 July is a date in the diary for all serious Bowie fans so if you want to catch Rebel Heroes on their debut performance, put on your red shoes and dance your way down to Party In The Park for a rip-roaring evening of classic songs from one of the greatest rock musicians of the modern era.

Entry fees to PITP this year will be £6 (for 16 years old and above) half price £3 for 11 to 15 year olds, and as always FREE to children under 11 years of age.
