Blast From The Past (2)

Blast from the Past, a pair of musicians from Coventry are playing in a Live and Local performance at Maxstoke church on Friday 10th April commencing at 7-30. They specialize in playing historical instruments – over thirty in this concert + numerous costume changes as they deliver 600 years of music in 90 minutes. The show features a mix of long forgotten tunes alongside old favourites, from medieval music through to Victorian times and further. Add their anecdotes and their own brand of humour: this is sure to be a good night.

Blast from the Past are often seen playing their own brand of music at historical sites, notably for English Heritage. They rarely play in Warwickshire so a bumper crowd of people familiar with their music are sure to attend.
