Big Sur, Rhiannon Mair

Big Sur is a crackin' bunch of well known musicians from the Peak. Phil Wildbore the singer wanted a different sound influenced by his love of piano based rock n roll with soulful feel. On drums is Titch still playing with Kerry Fernandez and previously Fat Fish, Steaming Isaacs and Henna and the Redheads. Phil Atkinson was also the lead guitar with Fat Fish, Red Heads and still performs with the Isaacs who he founded. On Bass is Big Scottish Mike from Kerry Fernandez. Ted front man with Cactus Room on sax and new recruit Kelly joining Phil singing. Piano is Bing who slides the band through from the front.

Rhiannon Mair has music in her blood; her DNA a dancing double-helix of vibrant musicality and song-writing savvy. Currently unsigned, the April 2013 release of debut album, It Goes Like This - entirely fan-funded through Pledge Music - showcases the talent of a fresh, credible recording artist.
