Laughing Chili Comedy Night

Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser

What a fabulous first show of the year!

Headlining is Sol Bernstein - the oldish Jewish comedian in the country. With his hilarious stories and one-liners, the gags come thick & fast!

Phil Dinsdale MC's for us, with his unique blend of cynicism, observation and good old fashioned humour.

Musical comedy comes from Ant Dewson, with his keyboard, and very funny songs.

Living in the UK since 1993, Asian-American Rick Keisewetter offers his punchy gags and subversive style.

Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.

Combining his childhood experiences growing up in a tough North East town, this ex Steel worker provides a unique blend of cynicism, observation and good old fashioned humour. Delivery is sharp and honest with human nature, topical issues and his own tangental mind all being exposed to the same tongue-in -cheek treatment

An Asian American who was adopted in Japan and raised in New Jersey, USA, Rick has been living and working in the UK since 1993. Ant Dewson

Ant Dewson appearing at this event

'Ant Dewson passed his Grade 6 piano exam when he was 14 – and he really hasn’t got much better since then! Classical music's loss was comedys gain however, and Ant now puts his (limited) skills to good use performing silly songs at comedy clubs up and down the country...'

Sol Bernstein

Sol Bernstein appearing at this event

After 25 years of semi retirements, playing nursing homes, Sol Bernstein is back where he belongs: in smoky nightclubs performing to drunks. The foul mouthed Jewish pensioner is at the top of his game! 'One part Alf Garnett, two parts Mel Brooks and three parts like nothing you've ever heard' (The Guardian) 'An instantly winning creation' (Evening Standard).
