Street Photography

This Street Photography course is an introduction to the art of street photography, where you get to explore street photography in a variety of different environments to learn the tricks of some of the world’s most famous street photographers.

With the guidance of the tutor, you will be able to take eye-catching images through an engaging and sociable experience. You will also be taught how to observe streets in a different way, enabling you to unlock your creativity. Ideal for intermediate photographers (or those who’ve completed a beginners course)

The course is comprised of 3 sessions. The first session is to recap on camera skills, look at inspiration, and practise different camera techniques. The second session will be on location in Bath to do a photo shoot and the third session will involve reviewing, manipulating and printing images.
This course covers:

A brief history and examples of street photography
Recap of photographic and camera principles including ISO, shutter speed, aperture and exposure
Practical techniques for taking street photographs
How to take pictures without people noticing
How to capture candid moments creatively
How to tell stories through your pictures photo of the Royal Circle, Bath

Equipment Needed: prime and fixed lenses, tripod, DSLR, large and spare memory card for camera.
