Microsoft Excel 2010, Improvers

This practical course is an introduction to Microsoft Excel 2010. It will provide “hands on” experience of many of the useful features of the software. The course is an improvers’ course and suitable for those who know the basics and would like to explore further features of the software for home or business use.

In order to get the most out of the course you should either have completed the beginners’ course or be familiar with the basic features of the software.

The course covers:
Working with and linking multiple worksheets | Conditional formatting | Using advanced functions | Introduction to macros | Workbook and file protection | Custom filtering | Advanced filtering | Data validation | Introduction to macros | Using controls

Course requirements: Participants ideally should be familiar with the basic functions and features of MS Excel.

Resources: A memory stick would be useful, plus pen and paper to make notes.
