Microsoft Excel 2010 Functions And Formulae
Formulas allow you to perform calculations and manipulate data in a spreadsheet. Functions are preset formulae in a spreadsheet that allow you to perform more complex calculations and data analysis.
This course is for those who familiar with Excel and are looking to improve their efficiency when using the software either at work or at home.
There are over 400 worksheet functions within Microsoft Excel and course is aimed at providing you with an insight into some of them and explores the capabilities of this spreadsheet software.
The course covers:
Structuring data
Naming and using the name manager
Using functions to work with text
Using functions to search and analyse data
Using conditional functions
Using functions to work with dates
Error checking
Course requirements: Participants should be familiar with Excel and be able to use some of the basic functions – Sum, Average, Count, Min and Max.
Resources: A memory stick would be useful, plus pen and paper to make notes.
