Microsoft Excel 2010, Automating Spreadsheets Using Macros

Macros can be used in Excel to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

This course is aimed at providing you with the skills to utilise Macros and covers an introduction to Macro recording, techniques for efficient creation, different ways of running Macros, as well as looking at editing them using the Visual Basic Editor.

The course covers:
Managing Macro security
Recording Macros and techniques for reusability
Assigning macros to objects (toolbar button, graphic, or control)
Editing macros using the Visual Basic Editor

Course requirements: Participants should be familiar with Excel and spreadsheet concepts, and be able to use some of the basic functions such as Sum, Average, Count, Min and Max and features.

Resources: A memory stick would be useful, plus pen and paper to make notes.
