French Advanced - Term 3

This course will allow you to consolidate your current French and speak on a number of topics. Conversation will centre on current affairs and aim to strengthen confidence and knowledge about the language and customs of French speaking countries.

It will be helpful to be able to hold a conversation about daily life and have a reasonable understanding of French grammar when you start the course.

Together the class will discuss more advanced topics such as environmental issues, film reviews etc. some learners may even have a go and do a short presentation talking about a trip or a fact. There will also be some consolidation of grammar, which will be integrated within topic work.

Learning will take place through a wide variety of activities, which aim to be challenging and fun and which will encourage you to speak, always. The aim of this course is to build on your understanding of the French language and culture.
