Cookery Masterclass - Full 24 week course
Cookery master classes are a great way to develop your skills and learn new techniques.
Each 4 week long master class is tailored to suit the need and skills of those attending can accommodate and dietary requirements.
These courses are hands on and are a fun way of broadening you experience and knowledge of food.
Meat: Sessions will develop techniques to ensure the best results and taste from your ingredients.
Fish: Sessions will develop techniques to ensure the best results and taste from your ingredients.
Vegetarian : Using spices, pulses and meat supplements and experimenting with new foods to make tasty meals for family and friends
Desserts: from simple easy puddings to more extravagant desserts, some of which help cleanse the palate and other sweet treats for that special occasion.
Baking and Bread: From simple bread rolls to international flavours and enriched doughs, providing a good breadth of knowledge to help you bake the perfect loaf.
International: How about trying some different styles of cooking from around the globe, using a range of ingredients to prepare traditional dishes.
Catherine Maxwell has a range of experience of working in kitchens including time spent working with Michel Roux Jr. Using these skills, more recently, to infuse a passion for cookery within the community.
All ingredients will be provided.
Course dates:
Monday 28 September : Meat
Course 2 starting Monday 2 November: Fish
Course 3 starting Monday 18 January: Vegetarian
Course 4 starting Monday 29 February: Desserts
Course 5 starting Monday 18 April: Baking and Bread (no class 2nd of May so last day will be Monday 16th May)
Course 6 starting Monday 6 June: International
