Do you enjoy painting and drawing? Do you struggle to find time for Art? Would you like to meet new like-minded friends? Would you like to exhibit and sell your Art?

Full-time professional local Artist and Art Tutor Barry Withers will be running a Saturday morning Art Group at St Johns for 10 weeks. The Art Group is open to adults of all abilities and each week you are free to bring along whatever medium you would like to work in. You may prefer painting in watercolour, acrylics, pencil drawing or soft pastels, each week the choice is yours.

To get you warmed up each session will start with a series of drawing and sketching exercises and then moving on to painting, or drawing a main piece. At the end of each session you will be able to take away the reference material so you can continue to work on it at home. You will then have the opportunity of exhibiting and selling your best work at an exhibition to be held at St Johns.

Throughout the course Barry will be on hand to help and guide you through your work and advise on techniques and materials. Due to the nature of this course no materials are included, however Art supplies will be available to purchase each week at discounted prices.
