Chris McCausland
Although hailed as the only blind comic on the stand up circuit, comedian Chris McCausland makes light of it. He usually begins with a crack about the irony of a blind man doing observational comedy and then speeds off into his entertaining and refreshing set, making wry and perceptive comments about the rich and famous, every day life and suchlike. Instantly likeable and definitely memorable.
'Proper stand up, honest straightforward and balls-out funny' (Chortle)
'A must see!' (The Sunday Times)
'Always excellent' (The Times)
'Truly brilliant' (Three Weeks)
'The new face of comedy in the UK' (ITV)
'Shining Light!' (Sunday Express)
'... fabulously funny and a definite highlight' (Leicester Mercury).

Mandy Knight
Once described as “as frisky as a terrier on heat”, Mandy Knight is a true dame of British stand-up comedy.
The first female comedian to compere that bastion of old-school stand-up The Comedy Store, Mandy has been breaking down barriers all her life. After a traumatic childhood of abuse and social uncare, she attended the famous Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. After becoming fully-trained as a classical actress, and then using her diploma to spend four years in the traditional acting alternative career as a waitress, Mandy Knight decided to ditch the period frocks and the pinafore and enter the world of stand up comedy. When asked why, Mandy said it was due to an irrational fear of a life in fringe theatre, exploring her inner child by pretending to be an oak tree, a fridge or a tambourine.
'Winner of the prestigious Time Out Award for Best Comedian. Razor sharp tongue, prone to shock but some of the best material on the circuit, excellent comic.' (Glee)
