The Brassiah Project

A new and unique project - Handel's adored piece Messiah performed by a vocal octet accompanied by a small brass ensemble.

Artistic Director Joel Newsome-Hubbard says, 'Solistes de Musique Ancienne is used to performing Messiahs up and down the country, and whilst we love the piece in its' original form we are very excited to be able to present it with a twist. Our audience will hear nuances and textures they've not heard before in traditional Messiah performances, and the timbre of the brass instruments evoke a festive and celebratory atmosphere'.
