Three living legends of jazz unite in a rare UK performance fusing contemporary jazz and world music virtuosity.
Dave Holland’s passion for musical expression and innovation has propelled a career of over 50 years and earned him multiple Grammys. Having shared the stage with Miles Davis, Stan Getz and Betty Carter and fostered a generation of younger players through his own ensembles, he has an open-eared respect for musical cultures.
Zakir Hussain is intuitive, masterful and widely considered chief architect of world music, having immersed himself in diverse collaborations with John McLaughlin (Shakti), George Harrison, Van Morrison and Yo Yo Ma.
Chris Potter’s world-class pedigree (Steely Dan, Herbie Hancock, Mingus Big Band) has earned him the prestigious Jazzpar Prize and the Downbeat accolade of ‘most copied saxophonist on the planet’.
