In Conversation with
Acclaimed artist Tania Kovats, winner of Cape Farewell’s Lovelock Art Commission for 2015, explains how her sculptural works relate to the seas and oceans, as well as James Lovelock’s Gaia principle of the planet Earth as a self-regulating super-organism. Joining her will be Jonathan Dove, composer of Gaia Theory for the 2014 BBC Proms, who responds to Tania’s work with the premiere of his new composition The Wave.
