PI: Interactive Textiles and Fashion Technology
Discover the textiles used in fashion clothing and how they work. There’s also lots of science behind clothing designed for protective functions, like water-repellent raincoats and bullet-resistant body armour. Plus, did you know developments in material science often intersect with computer science? Find out how eye-tracking glasses are used to evaluate fashion websites and how 3D body scanning can solve problems with how clothes fit. You’ll also get a print-out of your own 3D body scan.
