Athletics - Sainsbury's 2015 School Games

The Sainsbury's School Games are the UK's premier multi-sport event for elite young athletes and this year's edition will be held at various venues in Manchester from 3rd- to 6th September.

More than 1,600 young athletes will compete in 12 sports and the event provides a wonderful opportunity to see some of the UK's very best elite young athletes competing in world class sporting venues.

Athletics is one of the School Games' biggest sports and has featured in every edition of the Games since their inception in 2006. Competitors will compete in 57 events, including 20 disability events, in just one day of action packed drama.

With strong links to the existing schools athletics performance pathway the School Games programme provides a high level competition opportunity and unique multi-sport experience for the UK's best Under 17s athletes (under 20s for the disability events).

9 teams will participate representing 5 English regions (South East, South West, Midlands, North East and North West), Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Brazil, but who will prevail?
