The Brooklyn New Music Collective

Manchester Opera Project, an organisation dedicated to commissioning,developing and performing new vocal works presents a one hour concert of songs written by composers from the Brooklyn New Music Collective. The concert is produced in partnership with New York University.

The concert will be sung by American mezzo soprano Emily Howard Cobley, accompanied by Michael Rose, pianist and will feature songs by composers Steven Burke, Gilda Lyons and Micheal Rose.

The songs include settings of poems by Emily Dickinson, Rainer Maria Rilke and Wallace Stevens.
