In Focus: Home Front Memories Films
See films made by young people who interview Second World War eyewitnesses about their own wartime experiences. These films were made by 15 young people aged 14-19 at a Summer School hosted at IWM London during August 2015.
Background to the project:
The Home Front Memories films were made by 15 young people aged 14-19 at a Summer School hosted at IWM London during August 2015.
2015 marked the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and, to commemorate this anniversary, young people interviewed and filmed Second World War eyewitnesses Alan Francis, Kitty Capitelli, Geoff Blyth and Moya McCarthy.
Working with Chocolate Films, the young people were challenged to record and bring their unique stories to life using green screen technology and animation.
Suitable for adults
