Question And Answer Session

Coinciding with our production of City of Glass, Paul Auster makes a rare UK appearance at HOME to support the launch of his new novel 4 3 2 1. Thirty years since the publication of The New York Trilogy, 4 3 2 1 is the crowning work of Auster’s extraordinary career: an epic novel of passion and possibility, of love and the fullness of life itself.

Talking about his new novel and his extraordinary literary career this is a unique chance to hear from one of the world’s most critically acclaimed writers.

The £15.00 ticket includes a hardback copy of the novel 4 3 2 1 (RRP £20.00) and there is an opportunity to have it signed by the author after the event.

Paul Auster is the internationally acclaimed author of many works including Winter Journal, Sunset Park, Man in the Dark, The Brooklyn Follies, The Book of Illusions and The New York Trilogy first published in 1987. In 2006 he was awarded the Prince of Asturias Prize for Literature and inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Among his other honours are the Independent Spirit Award for the screenplay of Smoke and the Prix Médicis étranger for Leviathan. He has also been short-listed for both the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award (The Book of Illusions) and the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction (The Music of Chance). His work has been translated into more than forty languages. Paul Auster celebrates his seventieth birthday in 2017. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
