DR.ME: Choice Cuts

On the Granada Foundation Gallery walls on floors 1 and 2, presenting work by DR.ME (Ryan Doyle and Mark Edwards), taken from their recent year-long project 365 Days of Collage. Drawing upon advertisements, travel supplements, ethnographic magazines and material sourced from thrift stores, the repurposing of found images results in a collision of meaning and revised intent.

The result is often humorous, always startling and frequently sinister, as jumbled limbs clash with vivid patterns, and landscapes are pierced by unlikely architecture.
