AL And AL: Incidents Of Travel In The Multiverse

a major new solo exhibition of film, drawing, installation and live concert hall performances conceived from AL and AL’s epic sci-fi odyssey.

The exhibition focuses on 3 Multiverse journeys the artists have made with ground breaking scientists;

The 1st journey, Icarus at the Edge of Time, travels to the edge of a black hole, with superstring physicist Brian Greene and the composer Philip Glass, bringing Einstein’s theory of general relativity to visceral life.

The 2nd journey, The Creator, travels back in time with Thinking Machines from the future in search of their Creator Alan Turing, the father of the computer age who sowed the seeds for Artificial Intelligence.

The 3rd journey, The Demiurge, made in collaboration with the nanobiophysicist Bart Hoogenboom, who created the world’s first ‘real’ images of DNA, travels across the Universe onboard a mission to find the origins of life and a cure for death.
