Georgie Morrell is a half-blind comedian from London. Her first show, A Poke in the Eye, about the time she went fully blind and the laughs she had, has been seen up and down the country, at the Soho Theatre and on BBC Radio OUCH!

Returning to Edinburgh with her second full length stand up show, 'The Morrell High Ground'! Georgie's first show 'A Poke in the Eye' stormed last year's Edinburgh resulting in transfers to Soho Theatre as part of Soho Rising Festival receiving 4 * reviews. Then it went to Manchester's Women in Comedy festival and before this year's Edinburgh, tours to Hasting Comedy, Brighton Fringe and Leicester Comedy festival. Georgie is a regular on the stand up circuit, Improviser and writer. Her stand up has taken her around the London and national circuit too The Billy Murray, Camden Comedy Club, Soho Theatre, Blackpool Tower, Hen and Chickens, Kings Head Theatre, Angel Comedy, Backyard Comedy Club, Hoopla, The Miller amongst many others. As an improviser she trained with Monkey Toast and is with two improv teams The Diodes and Kanga and the Roo.
