The Letters Page
A literary magazine in epistolary format, The Letters Page, is reviving interest in the art of letter writing while pushing the form into new creative territories.
With contributors including George Saunders, Eimear McBride and Ian McMillan, the letters range from urgent declarations, to reportage, to rambling meditation.
Editor Jon McGregor will read a few and discuss the role of correspondence in literary tradition. Jon is Professor of Creative Writing at The University of Nottingham, the author of the story collection This Isn't The Sort Of Thing That Happens To Someone Like You, and the novel Even the Dogs, winner of the 2012 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
The Guardian recently named him one of the top ten writers to see live. Explore what letter writing means to us in the house of one of its great champions.
