Vaganza

Eastern Exchanges presents music by living Western composers who absorb aspects of East Asia in their works. The day features the classic, Yüan-inspired music theatre work The Consolations of Scholarship by the newly-appointed Master of the Queen's Music, Judith Weir.

New-music virtuosi Vaganza will dazzle with theatrical panache, humour and as always, a few surprises, including Roger Marsh's specially-composed work inspired by Japanese culture.
