We're Not Really Here - A Football Opera

A celebration of what it means to be a football fan.

This unique theatre show puts Manchester City fans centre-stage, with the audience watching what only the players get to experience – an incredible crowd, proudly supporting their favourite team.

You’ll hear the personal stories of City fans as they watch a game in real-time from kick-off to final whistle – the highs, the lows, the chants, the banter and the songs – in a brilliant new show created with Greater Manchester people and an international creative team including directors formerly of legendary Belgian company het Kip.

Get Involved:
We’re looking to recruit Man City fans of all ages to be part of this unique show. No acting experience needed. Don’t worry, it’s not really an opera, there’s no singing other than the chants and songs associated with the club!
