Formed in 2013 with a completed lineup in 2014, The Recreation spent their teenage years refining their sound and learning their craft. Their debut single ‘You’ cemented the band’s status as one of Manchester’s hottest acts, and earned The Rec the title of “the baby Strokes” by BBC Introducing’s Michelle Hussey.
