The Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra has a distinguished history, founded in 1907 and including Wilhelm Fürtwangler among its first Principal Conductors. Since 2015, one of Japan’s most distinguished musicians, Yutaka Sado, has been at the helm.
They perform works with a strong Viennese pedigree. Schubert and Mozart are synonymous with Europe’s long-standing capital city of music, while Brahms moved to Vienna in the 1860’s, becoming one of its most celebrated adopted sons.
