Manchester Mid-Day Concerts
Liga has great commitment to contemporary pieces chosen with care and played with insight. The Duttileux Sonata is very dramatic and highly approachable, with colourful harmonies and textures, and the pairing with Prokofiev and Mendelssohn promises a concert full of both variety and novelty.
