Get Creative Family Arts Festival: Tree/Boom/Umthi

The 30-minute narrative starts when a hungry child, who wishes to eat a peach, plants a seed in the ground. As the tree grows, the company of four actors lets us in on secrets about day and night, the seasons and the animals that interact with trees in the natural world. Tree/Boom/ Umthi is like an illustrated children’s book, brought to life and filled with beautiful images and song by the award-winning Magnet Theatre who have performed all over South Africa and internationally.
