The Carnival Band boldly go beyond the spirit of Christmas, to the spirit of people the world over getting together to celebrate and have fun. A melting pot of shawms, bagpipes, fiddle, guitars, bass, melodica, recorders and lots of singing! A sound world spanning five centuries and five continents!
Joining the band on stage for the whole night will be the Malvern Christmas Choir.
‘Those classy exponents of early English music, the Carnival Band.’ (The Guardian)
‘Their cavalier attitude to medieval and renaissance music, secular carols and dance tunes, is guaranteed to lift even the dullest of spirits.’ (Worcester Evening News)
"Who are those Malvern Christmas singers?" I hear you say....
Well.... it could be you!
Would you like to join the choir?
Check out the listings on the Malvern Cube website for 30th November. Sign up and come to the workshop.
